Plan Your Visit
For most of the year, the Winery & Brewery are open daily for guided wine tastings, wine flights, beer flights, and retail sales. In the winter months (mid December – Early/Mid March), we are closed most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We also have a gift shop with an impressive collection of wine & beer accessories, clothing, logo items and a bountiful selection of unique gifts.
The Ginny Lee restaurant serves lunch daily from May through October. Please check the the Ginny Lee Cafe website, or phone 607-582-6574 for the off-season schedule.
If you are planning your first visit to Wagner Valley Brewery Co, we would like to let you know that your experience may depend a great deal on the time of year you choose to stop by.
Fall
Finger Lakes wine tasting is extremely popular in the fall. The season peaks Labor Day through Thanksgiving with weekend visitors enjoying all the region has to offer including wine tastings, foliage viewing, and observing harvest activities. Weekends during the Fall are an exciting time to visit. Weekdays generally are a little slower-paced than weekends, but can still be quite busy on a beautiful autumn day. Bring a sweatshirt and relax with a beer flight on our seasonally enclosed deck, The Vantage Point, or on the lawn at our picnic tables (weather permitting) overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in the Finger Lakes.
Winter
The parking lot is cleared and the heat is on, winter is a great time to visit! The Vantage Point will be enclosed and heated to keep you comfortable while enjoying the beautiful wintery views over a flight of beer or wine. Enjoy the region’s captivating scenery, but at a less hectic pace. Take your time tasting, relaxing, shopping and visiting with the folks at Wagner Valley Brewing Co.
Spring
Also a wonderfully scenic time to visit; the views change daily as the vineyards and hillsides are erupting with fresh green growth after the winter dormancy. Weekends can be busy, but during the week it will be easier to get a guided tasting reservation or walk in to enjoy a flight of wine or beer on our seasonally enclosed deck.
Note: The Seneca Lake Wine Trail plans most of its special events for weekends in the winter & spring, when the volume of tourists has declined. Check the event listing or the Wine Trail website for special event dates & info.
Summer
There is plenty of fun available in the Finger Lakes region during the summer months. All of the area parks, restaurants, and seasonal attractions are open this time of year. We host lots of visitors but rarely at the volume we see in the fall. Summer is a great time for a day trip to Wagner – taste, relax, dine & shop all in one stop. We also have live entertainment on the deck every Friday evening from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend – be sure to check our Summer Music Series page for details.
